The adventures of Uncle Boris have been covered throughout this blog.

Though Uncle Boris is well-known and admired by the multitudes his personal preference is to be alone. This aspect of his nature came to fruition during his last lengthy retreat in the Himalayas. Uncle Boris experienced what Ibn Arabi referred to as “Being Alone With The Alone.”

Uncle Boris practices “being alone while in the world.” Rather than retreat from the world Uncle Boris sees being in the world as a constant retreat. Uncle Boris strives to maintain constant awareness of Ultimate Reality by living fully within all expressions of reality.

“To retreat from the apparent, relative world is to reject one of theĀ  expressions of Ultimate Reality. Ultimate reality demands all or nothing.” says Uncle Boris.

Occasionally Uncle Boris does take a few days to be by himself. These short retreats from the world help him embrace his time in the world more fully.

Uncle Boris has caught the attention of the media. His refusal to write and sell books or lead expensive retreats for those seeking inner peace have ironically made Uncle Boris a celebrity.

Uncle Boris recently took one of his short retreats from the world. He found an empty coal room in the basement of an old building and used it as a retreat cell. It reminded him of his cave in the Himalayas.

The next day the freaking paparazzi found him, banged on the window and demanded to take his picture.

“Will The Paparazzi Please Leave Uncle Boris Alone!” says The Monkey.

Uncle Boris is quite a guy. No wonder the ladies go for him: a philosopher, of the world and yet not, all hirsute and manly…

  3. David Marc Klein says:

Uncle Boris hasn’t had his morning coffee and halavah. He can get bit crabby.
